Jeffrey "Lucky" Hodnett was born in Poplarville, Mississippi September 4, 1972 to Steve and Linda Hodnett. Jeffrey " Lucky " Hodnett was first signed with LASH Records from 2002 - 2011 . Lucky Signed with Tate Music Group 2011-2012. From 2012-Present Lucky has been under his Label " Lucky 7 Music Group". Lucky was offered two other Major Record deals in 2014 but Lucky wanted to stay Independent & keep the Rights to all of his music & the Publishing Rights so he stayed with his own Label.
His Love of Music led him to become a Singer, Songwriter, and Producer. Expanding upon his music experience, he started his own record label, "Lucky 7 Music Group" in (2011) . In 2011 Jeffrey released his first CD "A Southern Way of Life / Alive & Well" with hit songs "Mirror, Mirror" and "Tear It Down".
Jeffrey "Lucky" (as he is affectionately known by his FANS) negotiated a Record Deal with Tate Music Group in March 2011 and now works closely with producer Don Johnson. His newest Album from Tate Music Group was released in March 2012 titled “Take Me Back to Mississippi ". His first single "Facebookin" has already gained attention of Social Media Giant Facebook. Facebookin also went to be a hit song along with some of Jeffrey " Lucky" Hodnett's Gospel Music Originals from his Gospel Collection Release.
Jeffrey is like many Country Stars, spending a lot of time in Nashville, TN & Touring. Jeffrey’s Mother "Linda" plays a significant role in the management of his music career also. Jeffrey " Lucky " Hodnett's Mother Linda Bays was his Manager from 2005-2013. Jeffrey " Lucky" Hodnett had a Tour Manager Richard Pummill over Booking & Tours from 2015-2017 who was also one of Jeffrey " Lucky" Hodnett's Song writers who wrote the song "MaMa Don't Ever Change" which Lucky Recorded on his 2015 EP Release Titled" Time Rolls On" Lucky named his Band " The Lucky 7 Band" not to be mixed up with The Lucky 7 Band from the Rock side. Lucky's Band was named Lucky 7 Band because there was originally seven musicians and they were Lucky's Tour Band. Lucky's Original Bass Player was Roger Mason of Carriere, Mississippi. Drummer Nicky Ball also from Carriere, Mississippi & Lead Guitar Player Brent Arinder from Hattiesburg , Mississippi. Keyboards James " Kelvin" Lewis from Poplarville, Mississippi. Also Rhythm Guitar Charlie Bell from Purvis , Mississippi. Grace Ball " Female Background Vocalist" also from Mississippi. Since the Original Band Lucky has worked with Many great Band Members & Music Row Musicians along with James Ducker Guitarist for Country Legend " Ronnie McDowell" who is also owner of Cedar Wood Recording Studios in Laurel, Mississippi. Lucky has Recorded at Cedarwood Studios , Studio "B' Nashville, Oceanway Nashville, Lash Records Studio Mississippi , & South Street Studio's Nashville with Producer Ric Web who Produced Lucky's Singles " Mirror Mirror" & Tear It Down" along with Producer Jeff Hale who was a Drummer for Country Legend " Waylon Jennings". Other great Musicians Lucky has Recorded with at Oceanway Nashville like Brent Mason CMA "Guitarist of the Year" Multiple Times , Gorton Mote Keyboard, Jim " Moose" Brown, & Multiple Other Fine Nashville Musicians.

Lucky has accomplished 5 Albums Releases along with one " Greatest Hits Collection". Lucky has won multiple awards in his career .
